This Agreement allows you to require employees to work more than 48 hours per week, on average. It enables you and your employees to opt-out of to the limitation on weekly working hours, contained in the Working Time Regulations 1998. You need to enter into this Agreement with every individual employee who agrees to work more than 48 hours per week and who does not have a term to this effect in his/her contract of employment.
