A Section 8 Notice (or Notice Seeking Possession) is generally appropriate where;
there is a valid Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement
the tenant is in arrears of rent or in breach of the Agreement
2 Weeks notice is usually required and you have to specify the 'grounds' for seeking possession, such as failure to pay rent, breach of obligations and so on and give particulars.
