Executors Guide to Administering an Estate

In many cases executors will instruct solicitors to administer an estate on their behalf and wisely so in the case of larger estates. However in the case of small estates those executors with the time and inclination may wish to do the work themselves. This guide explains the basic procedure involved and covers such matters as obtaining the grant of probate, collecting in the assets, paying estate debts, preparing accounts and distributing to beneficiaries.
