The Consent order (clean break) service allows you to make sure that following your divorce neither party can go back to court to ask for more money or assets.
The Consent order is the only way divorced parties can ensure that any agreement reached is enforceable and that no further claims can be made.
Even if you already have a separation agreement you will still need to obtain the consent order to put the terms of the agreement into effect.
The Consent order is filed after Decree Nisi has been pronounced by the court in divorce proceedings and is a final binding order on both parties.
You are advised to purchase this product at the same time, or soon after the divorce package to ensure there is no delay in obtaining the order from the court. The procedure does not involve either party attending court in most circumstances.
The Order will deal with any property division or transfer, savings, shares, policies, personal property, spouse maintenance, child maintenance, and pensions including pension sharing orders.
The Clean Break Consent Order consists of the following:
taking your instructions
drafting consent order
drafting Statement of Information for a Consent Order
filing the necessary application & papers at Court
sending you the sealed Consent Order
prices start from £250
we do not charge VAT (a saving of 17.5%)
